Still hanging on in there, HTC’s Google Nexus One is about to get a facelift to its OS when the handset receives the Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update through Vodafone UK.
Launched over 17 months ago, the Google-backed flagship smartphone created by HTC is yet to get a taste of Gingerbread, but soon Nexus One owners on the UK Vodafone network will receive improvements to the Android user interface as well a whole host of new and improved features such as the new Android touchscreen keyboard and better options for power management.
The HTC Google Nexus One was succeeded by the Nexus S in December, but now owners of the classic Nexus One on Vodafone can enjoy the update to Android 2.3.4. Simply await the update notification on your phone and grab your update. You’ve waited long enough!

· UI Enhancements (simpler and slicker)
· New Android Keyboard, with easy copy/paste feature
· Improved Power Management
· Internet Calling support (Voip over SIP)
· Multiple Camera Management (front and back)
