It looks as though US network AT&T has landed itself a pair of Android Smartphones from HTC in the form of the HTC Holiday and the HTC Lead. Both are absolute beasts by the sounds of the specifications list, read on to learn more.
Both handsets run on the latest Google Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) operating system, but it’s the Holiday that has the most impressive specifications sheet. It packs a massive 4.5-inch qHD screen, a 1.3MP front facing camera and an 8MP rear snapper. Under the hood is a Dual-Core Qualcomm 1.2GHz MSM8660 processor, which is also used in the Lead.
The HTC Lead may use the same processor, but it has a slightly smaller 4.3-inch qHD screen and a 5MP rear camera as opposed to the 8MP snapper on the Holiday. Both handsets also feature the usual connectivity options; Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3G and Bluetooth 3.0. There’s currently no word on whether either handset will support 4G connectivity in the US.
Both handsets are exclusive to US network AT&T, but we hope to see these Android beasts make it to UK and European shores – most probably under pseudonyms.
