HTC Omega Windows Phone 7 device photos leaked

You may remember back in July, the specifications of an unannounced WP7 HTC device named Omega made its way onto the Internet. Well, just over a month later, we’ve now been treated to a leaked picture of HTC’s latest WP7 handset that is expected to be launched at HTC’s next event on 1st September.

It’s believed that the HTC Omega (or possibly Radar upon release), will be the twainesse company’s first Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) handset, and as the image shows it will be available in a white/silver combination, with the silver colour possibly being of aluminum construction.

Moving onto the specification of the Omega, it’s rumoured that the device will feature a 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 CPU, along with 512MB RAM, 3.8” SLCD, 16GB internal storage and an 8MP camera. The Omega will also have a front facing camera which will no doubt be able to take advantage of the new Skype intergration that features on the Mango update of WP7.

The full official details of the Omega will be confirmed on Thursday 1st September, if you fancy going along for the event, you can head on over to the HTC Facebook page and RSVP to let them know – remember its first come first severed though.
