Never one to keep things underwraps, Taiwanese mobile co. HTC has let slip One of its latest – just three days before the gadget is set to become official at the Mobile World Congress which begins this Monday.
Formerly the HTC Edge, and then Endeavour, the HTC One X has been sighted in a promotional render which show off the gadget’s front with the sizeable 4.7” qHD touchscreen display which generously spans the front surface. Speaking of the screen, check out the subtle teaser – it’s going to be a sunny week in Barcelona, the home of the MWC event.
This one is said to be powered by NVIDIA’s 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor and will feature Android upgrade 4.0. It’ll be the first of the HTC line up to be complimented by the HTC Sense user interface.
The HTC One X (for Xtreme Performance) should be joined by as-of-yet unseen smaller sibling the HTC One S (standing for Slim) which comes with the same quad-core motor and similarly respectable features, only this One will have a slightly smaller screen measuring 4.3”. Both models as well as the former HTC Quattro tablet, now known as the HTC XL (for Xtra Large) will be arriving in Spain with a possible fifth mystery quad-core device to officially debut between Monday 27th February to Thursday 1st March.
