HTC Sense 3.5 Shown Off in 5 Minute Video Demo

  • by

Well, well well, what have we here? A full 5 minute video demonstration of a shiny new version of HTC Sense has appeared online for our eyes to wander over.

The video demonstrates the new looks and features of Sense 3.5, a new and redesigned user interface to be found on Android smartphones from HTC fairly soon.

HTC Sense 3.0 was released recently and you’ll find it on smartphones like the Sensation and EVO 3D, along with its custom weather lockscreen and customisable homescreens.

This video gives us a great look at how HTC have improved the Sense user interface. The whole thing looks more polished, sharpened and improved over all, looking smarter than its predecessor.

The first major change we spotted was the disappearance of the familiar three button Sense launcher that has sat at the bottom of HTC Android phones for a long time now. Gone are the Menu and Phone buttons, instead there appears to be just two options in their place, one for an ‘app drawer’ and one for the phone keypad.

We also see that the seven homescreens can now be removed to suit user preference, meaning you’ll be able to remove those extra screens you really don’t want or can’t find a use for.

Amongst the other features demonstrated includes a pretty awesome looking improved Weather widget, which includes a new animation as well as thumbnails for the next 4 days’ projected weather forecast.

You can view all 5 minutes and 21 seconds of the Sense 3.5 video demonstration below, but be sure to let us know what you think of the new look for HTC!
