IFA 2011: LG Announces Its New Flagship LW980T LED TV’s

Today’s press conferences from the IFA 2011 yielded quite a few announcements – one of which was a new line of flagship LED TV’s from Korean manufacturer LG.

According to the company the product range includes some of the best 3D technology and Smart TV found on the market today.

LG announced that the new range will comprise of two models – one a 47-inch screen, and another which will clock-in at 55-inches.  Both versions are expected come with LG’s impressive Nano LED backlighting to produce clearer and brighter pictures.

In addidtion to some lovely LED tech, the new range will sport thinner frames and sleek designs making the new sets just 27.5 mm thick.

The LW980T also comes with some impressive 3D tech too, the sets come with passive Cinema 3D and severel pair of glasses.

One of the main selling points of the new LED TV’s is the wide viewing angle which allows viewers to enjoy the fruits of the new set from loads of different angles.

For those who enjoy watching movies or playing video games, this television provides more than adequate viewing capability.

The new sets will come with a host of internet apps and TV services – from BBC iplayer to Youtube and Facebook to Twitter.

“The unique NANO FULL LED screen creates brighter, clearer and smoother pictures; and allows the TV design to be slimmer than ever before.  This flagship LG TV provides the best in 2D, 3D and SmartTV,” LG bragged to reporters at today’s at IFA 2011.
