Thanks to leaks, we are all now confident that Samsung will be following up its successful Galaxy S5 Android smartphone launch, with two sister devices called the Galaxy Active and the Galaxy Prime, now thanks to a further leak some images of the Prime can be seen.
Those good folks at Phone Arena are on a bit of a run at the moment with last week’s full renders of the LG G3, and now with an anonymous lake of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime. The leaked image shows off the design of the high end smartphone with the three pictures of an S5 like handset that features a new aluminium body, but still sporting the dimpled back.
The prime is looking set to be a Premium version of the Galaxy S5, with a QHD display that will reportedly support a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 on a slightly larger 5.5” screen (compared to the S5’s 1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and the Prime will also feature octa-core processing with Exynos 5 5430 CPU.
Bigger, faster, sleeker… that’s what the Prime is looking like!
Other rumoured specs include 3GB of RAM a 16-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel front facing snapper plus 32GB of on-board storage and Android 4.4.2 built in.
Thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active are that it will be a rugged version of the Galaxy S5 with a hardened case and waterproof aspects for those on the move. However little I known about the Active, it just seems to be the Prime that is suffering all the leaks.
We hoe to see both the premium Prime and the rugged Active in the next few months!
