Snap-happy Android users would have been pleased to hear that iPhone’s top photo editing software – Instagram – is being made available for Google gadgets very soon. Today the app comes into even more focus, as a pre-registration website has opened up, promising a heads-up ahead of Instagram touching down on Google Play (formerly the Android Market.)
The popular and free Apple iOS version of Instagram is used by over 15 million iPhone users and we’re sure you’ve seen the product of its wide selection of editing features and filters popping up from your friends on your news feeds from time to time. The app’s appeal is massively social with instant sharing to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and more. Instagram allows you to tilt and tint, add borders and reimagine your photos with aging effects and artistic touch-ups.
The app’s creator Burbn Inc. teases that the Android version of Instagram “could” come with features not present on the version for Apple devices, and the pre-registration page has now gone live. Registering your interest by simply entering your email address will keep you updated on when exactly the free app becomes available – and as fans of the Instagram app, Gadget Helpline is sure to bring you the breaking news as the app goes live for Android!
