Yet another iPhone 5 rumour is doing the rounds, with less than 5-days until Apple plans to “talk phones” the rumour mill is going into overdrive.
A powerpoint slide at an Asian conference has suggested the phone will come with HSPA+, which in English means it will be quick to load websites and faster at downloading via the current 3G network.
Three UK and Vodafone already use this technology on their networks, the Samsung Galaxy S2, iPhone’s biggest rival, comes with HSPA and can achieve super-fast 21.6 Mps in certain areas.
Pocketnow is reporting that China Unicorn took the sneaky snap at the MacWord Asia conference.
The slide also confirms the October release date – this hopefully scotches those pesky iPhone 4S rumours too – with the phone called iPhone 5 according to the slide.
This has to be taken with the usual pinch of salt, and Apple isn’t always renowned for adding the tech to device – preferring to wait for mass adoption – but there’s no doubt it would be a welcomed addition.
