After a rocky start where Chinese dubbing went over the audio on the live stream, we finally heard the features that would make it onto the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus – a larger model with a bigger screen. Here’s a list of the features, straight to the point.

The new landscape home screen.

The iPhone 6 at its regular size will feature a 1334 x 750px screen, whilst the iPhone 6 Plus is going to include full 1080p. Apps will get a new set of screen options for layouts, whilst the home screen should now work in landscape. User interfaces should now be more flexible too.

Size comparisons of the new and older iPhones.

The regular iPhone 6 measures in at 6.9mm thick, whilst the Plus comes in at 7.1mm thick, when compared to the 5S that’s around half a millimetre thinner, not much of a change but still. The power button is now located on the side of the device.
