Sky has given famous fictional secret agent James Bond his next assignment after hitting the big screen in new film SkyFall, by announcing a showcase of all of his adventures, including the yet to be released movie, in high definition on Sky Movies HD channels throughout 2013.
Ian Flemming’s storybook spy will appear in all the classic missions such as Dr.No – the original from 1962 which stars Sean Connery and celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year. The fast-paced action-packed series will continue with the films of the late 70s and 80s including Live and Let Die, which featured this blogger’s favourite Bond – Roger Moore. Later Bond movies including GoldenEye with Pearce Brosnan and Quantum of Solace starring current 007 Daniel Craig will feature, just before Sky adds the co-incidentally named new movie SkyFall to the catalogue in mid-2013, after its cinema release on October 26th 2012.
It’s a big year for Bond, both with the 50th Anniversary of the film series’ beginning and the release of a blockbuster new movie. We’re not shaken, nor stirred but we are pretty excited for Bond in HD!
SkyFall will be the 23rd film in the true James Bond legacy as it was officially announced on Apple iPad. Check out the Gadget Helpline’s coverage – Here.
