Keecoo is a name you may have never heard of – and probably one you’ll not hear much from again after they announced their latest smartphone. It’s a handset created for women that comes pre-loaded with Android and pretty much every gender stereotype you can think of.
As for the camera tech, the Keecoo K1 comes with a 13-megapixel main camera with Sony sensor, LED flash and auto focus and the front facing camera captures 8-megapixels with its own LED flash for shots in the dark and to “satisfy all sorts of needs of selfie enthusiasts”. And what makes it even better is that the K1 front camera “automatically makes your skin look delicate and smooth”.
The promotional website for the K1 shows the handset, which features primarily in a shiny pink finish, surrounded by makeup and flower petals – things which all girls like, right?
Perhaps what’s worse than than Keecoo’s inevitable PR car crash and stone-age sexist approach to selling this handset is the fact that they chose to use Comic Sans on their website header. Comic frigging Sans..
