Lenovo’s Vibe Z2 Pro Leaked

Lenovo are set to take on Samsung, HTC and LG if the leaked images and specs of their new Vibe Z2 Pro smartphone are to be believed.

The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is to have a metallic body with a 6 inch QHD display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution. The design isn’t too dissimilar from last year’s K900 release with its metallic body and a thickness of only 7.7mm. The device is said to feature a 16 MP camera with OIS and dual-LED flash, 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, NFC, 4G network support, dual-SIM connectivity and a 4,000 mAh battery.

The device doesn’t however feature the usual Lenovo branding; instead the company are trying to promote their sub-brand Vibe, by placing that logo in pride-of-place on the back of the handset.

The leak came from an internal Lenovo event so it doesn’t seem like an official launch will be too far away, although nothing official has been announced by Lenovo themselves. There is also speculation as to whether or not it will even hit the US market at all, or if it will be released on the Asian market first, then depending on the success, launched elsewhere after.
