Ahead of its official launch on 27th May, LG have released press pictures showing exactly what the next generation flagship LG G3 handset is set to look like and this includes pictures of it when in its QuickCircle case.
No official specifications have been released yet but we can expect to see those when it is released on May 27th. That said the smartphone is anticipated to feature a 5.5-inch QHD 2560 x 1440 display, 3GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, 32GB of internal storage and a 3,000mAh battery. There are also speculations of it being water resistant, no doubt to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2.

From the pictures you may notice that the QuickCircle case looks similar to the QuickWindow case released last year. It has been adapted so that you can still access certain features through the QuickCircle, without having to actually open the case. The QuickCircle also has a lighting feature whereby it will display a soft glow when a notification is received or the case is opened. LG are also allowing developers to create customised functions specifically for the QuickCircle case.
The case itself is Qi compatible, meaning it can wirelessly charge the device through the case, a pretty useful feature to have if you don’t want to be fiddling with wires all the time. The case will also come in a range of colours of plain old fashioned black isn’t you cuppa tea; shine gold, aqua mint, Indian pink, metallic black and silk white.

President and CEO of LG’s Mobile sector Dr Jong-Seok spoke out about the case saying “The smartphone ecosystem is constantly evolving – no longer are cases just for protection from the elements and bumps and drops; They’re the perfect accessory to build in extra features that add more value to a mobile device. With QuickCircle Case, we’ve exceeded the baseline by making it customisable to better fit users’ needs.”
