Lion Ultimatum gives desktop functionality to iOS devices

Do you have a Jailbroken iPhone and do you wish you could make your iPhone work more like a full blown Mac running OS X? Well, with a neat little program called Lion Ultimatum, you can.

Lion Ultimatum is essentially a theme that runs using the Dreamboard software (this is required software to install Lion Ultimatum). At the moment it is in Beta stage but the overhaul of the UI is impressive, making the device look like it is running a mini version of OS X. Lion Ultimatum also has a file manager built in, giving you a desktop-style file management – something that iPhone severely lacks.

The replacement user interface gives some brilliant customisations, so along with a functional file manager and Finder menus, you get a scrollable dock and draggable windows along with Stacks, Launchpad, Mission Control and Dashboard.

You also get a customisable lock screen that provides access to the dialer, email and messages and if you want, the keyboard can be modified to resemble the design of a MacBook Pro or the traditional Apple Keyboard, thanks to integration with the ColorKeyboard application available from Cydia.

At the moment we are looking at iPhone-only compatibility, so no iPad or iPod Touch support just yet, but as it is still in Beta we can expect the compatibility to be improved later on.
