Microsoft Lumia 650 Confirmed in Leaked Press Image

Microsoft’s next low cost Windows 10 smartphone and possibly its last – the Lumia 650, has been unofficially outed in picture form courtesy of Twitter leak-meister @evleaks.

The new image looks legit and corroborates with an earlier leak of the Lumia 650 which saw a prototype of the handset pictured ‘in the wild’. The handset looks a fairly low budget affair and rumoured specifications such as 1.1GHz quad-core processor and a modest 1GB of RAM seem to suggest it will offer an entry level Windows 10 experience at an affordable price.

Other details speculated for the Microsoft Lumia 650 includes a 5.0-inch LCD touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and featuring a protective Gorilla Glass 3. Internal storage on offer will be 8GB with potential to expanded using Micro-SD up to 128GB. On board cameras include a main 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, capable of 1080p video at 30fps and the front facing ‘selfie’ cam comes in at a standard 5-megapixels. The Lumia 650 will support Wi-Fi and is LTE/4G compliant.

There’s no set release date for this Windows 10 smartphone but we’ll take this new leak as confirmation that it will be arriving soon. With the Mobile World Congress just around the corner we’d hope for more news and a price soon.
