Online addiction Minecraft is set to break it’s Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY shackles and spread across all Android 2.3 Gingerbread gadgets from September 29th.
Minecraft is a game limited only by the imagination, and works like a bottomless box of Lego in a very basic three-dimensional reality. Doesn’t sound too exciting – but this thing takes over lives! Allowing you to construct and build your own world from only the base materials, the game has become an addiction to a lot of people.
If your a fan of the PC version, don’t expect everything to be exactly as you remember. This version of Minecraft will be translated in its most suitable form to work with your mobiles touchscreen and not all of the PC updates will become available on the pocket version. It does, however, look exactly like the same Minecraft complete with the same cubist reality and dated graphics that have been winning over gamers on the desktop!
Minecraft – Pocket Edition 0.1 is available on Android 2.3 Gingerbread through the Android Market now – exclusively for Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY. Get creating for only £4.26!
Other Android owners will be able to grab a downloadable copy of the game from September 29th.
