Hello Moto. This spy shot has filtered online over night, instantly sparking rumours that it’s the sequel to the behemoth Motorola Atrix smartphone. There’s no evidence to say either way, at this stage, but it certainly has the look and enough of a nod to the Atrix’ design to suggest that it could be.
In terms of specs, all we can glean is that it has an 8-Megapixel camera and, rather impressively, 1080p HD video recording. Aside form the addition of a front-facing camera, that’s kind of it. If it is the successor to the Atrix lineage, though, you’d expect that it would be packing at least the same NVIDIA Tegra series dual-core chip.
We’ll keep you posted on this one. At the moment, it looks as though it’s bound for AT&T in the US, so there’s no word on whether it’ll actually land in the UK at all. What do you think?
