Motorola Atrix confirmed for May 4th release through Orange network.

The dual-core Motorola Atrix “super-phone” is coming to the Orange network in the UK with price plans revealed and the release on the brightly branded network is now known to be tomorrow.

The Atrix will come packing FroYo with a Dual-Core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and 1GB of RAM – That’s some pulling power for a smartphone! In addition, features include 4-inch HD touchscreen at 960×540 resolution, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with VGA webcam up front, 16GB of memory and support for up to 32GB on MicroSD.

The Atrix can also be docked for 1080p video output to compatible TVs and can be adapted to function as a laptop with the unique LapDock add-on.

Available on contract through Orange, the Motorola Atrix will be free with commitment to a 24-month contract costing £35 a month. For this customers will receive 600 minutes, 750MB data, unlimited WiFi and unlimited texts in addition to 50 multimedia messages. Orders are being taken through the Orange website now.
