Motorola is serving up a Valentines treat this February by offering massive savings on most of its mobile products.
If you’re looking to break up with your Samsung Galaxy S5 or iPhone 6 now would be the time to review the flagship Moto X (2nd Gen) before the #MotoLove promotion starts on February the 2nd and runs until February the 14th. Registering for a promo code on Feb 2 will grant the user a $140 discount on all orders above $499. This would include the full fat Moto X 64GB Pure Edition which on its own sells for $599.99 on the Motorola store. The regular 32GB model is also available for $449 so throwing in a few extras such one of the custom shell cases or protective wallets will make the order eligible for the generous discount (as this is a U.S only promotion tax is not factored into these prices.)
To showcase the Moto X, this premium handset carries Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its OS which is updatable straight away to latest version 5.0 Lollipop and it features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution touchscreen display. A 2.5GHz Qualcomm quad-core processer is under the hood with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.
The rear camera packs a generous 13-megapixels with front camera shooting in HD at 2-megapixels making your selfie game strong with the super sharp images captured. The look of the phone can also be customised at purchase with the very cool Moto Maker offering choice of case, trim and finish making it ultimately unique to its owner (we love the American Football leather option).
Other phones that could be snapped up at a bargain include the Moto 360, Moto G and Moto E but unfortunately the new Nexus 6 has been exempt from the deal and currently stills sits with a $649.99 price tag – still a little steep for most. There are also smaller discounts available on lesser value orders including $50 off a $249 or above order if placed on Feb 2nd this then dropping to a $35 saving on orders of $249 from Feb 3rd.
Sadly no mention from Motorola of whether the deals will cross over to the UK but we’ll just sit here enviously and in hope of some late breaking news. Our US friends can read full details and register for the promo code at the Motorola Blog website.
