The Motorola RAZR has made its comeback, with the device being released in the UK, there are some tasty specs and the fact that it is competing for the crown of the thinnest device is always something we like to hear.
The thing is that Motorola may not be happy with one RAZR being released. Possibly taking a leaf out of Samsung’s book, it looks like two more Motorola RAZR handsets are about to show their faces and muscles.
The two variants of the RAZR are hitting Chinese shores shortly and should be available by the end of the year.
The devices, although both slightly thicker than the Droid RAZR, both boast some extra specs.
The first of the 2 new RAZR handsets is the XT928, although it is the thickest of the 3 RAZR handsets it is still very thin, and it comes with a whopping 13-Megapixel camera and Dolby Digital certification. I think the thickness can be over looked a little bit given the impressive spec upgrade. The handset does however lose some of its ‘vava voom’, with the Kevlar back plate being replaced with what looks to be a plain black plastic casing.
The second of the two handsets is the MT917, this one is only a fraction thicker adding only a single millimeter to the RAZR’s thickness but the specs still get a boost. Rather than the 4.3 inch qHD screen, we see a 4.5 inch full 720p resolution screen, they have also added the 13-Megapixel camera on the back and that beautiful Kevlar back cover is still there.
Jealousy comes over us when we think these two monster handsets are not going to come to the UK and are China bound only. But who knows, maybe we will get something like a RAZR HD released over here at some point..
..Well I can dream can’t I?
