The Motorola RAZR has only gone and gotten itself the obligatory white makeover as an exclusive through UK retailer Phones4U with shipping beginning on March 1st.
The first edition Motorola RAZR was launched in October 2011 and after four months of being available in the standard toneless black the gadget has gone on pre-order through the high street and online outlet of mobile deal-maker Phones4U on contracts from £21.50 per month upwards. Taking that tariff on the O2 network, for examples sake, will award you 200 call time minutes, 3000 texts and 500 MB of data connection to enjoy throughout the month.
Already available in the US, the white Motorola RAZR (known as the Droid RAZR over there) has already cropped up as a pre-order item once before through UK online retailer Clove, but it was mysteriously pulled, leaving us wondering if the UK would ever get to see it in action. Phones4U has delivered and if this is the Droid you’re looking for you’ll get to enjoy Android 2.6 Gingerbread (option to upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich coming soon) and processing power comes via a 1.2 GHz TI OMAP4430 CPU and the mobile boosts a generous 1GB of onboard RAM.
