Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, the latest and the most gizmo packed entry into the Call of Duty series ever, is receiving a brand new downloadable content package, known as the Havoc DLC. New weapons, a new game mode which some may be familiar with, as well as new maps for multiplayer in some really cool settings.
There is a slight twist to the DLC, unfortunately it’s only going out to the Xbox range, including Xbox 360 and Xbox One, for the time being, with one month of exclusivity planned for the downloadable extras pack for Xbox gamers. If you’re on the PC or a Playstation 3 or Playstation 4 console, you’ll have to wait until February 26th to get your hands on it.

Of course, you may have heard of the ‘zombies’ minigame that players enjoyed in earlier versions of Call of Duty, but the Havoc DLC brings back the game mode in style, by equipping everyone’s favourite undead cannon fodder pals with the super advanced exo suits found in Advanced Warfare. This means that shambling may no longer be an option for zombies in the new Exo Zombies mode, they’ll use jetpacks and pack a real wallop.
As for multiplayer, four new maps have arrived, Core, featuring a nuclear fusion plant in the Gobi desert, Urban, a high tech high rise building, Sideshow, an abandoned inn and Drift, a ski resort. Check them out in the video below.
An all star cast is expected to head up the group of protagonists standing between us and the techno zombie revolution. Four characters, each voiced by John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Joe Bernthal will make an appearance, as members of the Atlas corporation fighting back against the waves upon waves of zombies.

A brand new laser rifle the ‘AE4 directed energy assault rifle’ will also feature in the Havoc DLC. The ability not only to slay zombies but do it with laser beams seems to be an attractive one to us. A custom variant, known as the AE4 Widowmaker will also feature, presumably a louder, cooler looking more deadly version of the already powerful weapon
The Havoc DLC will cost $14.99 in the US and £11.59 in the UK, and is available now on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Season pass owners for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will recieve the DLC free of charge, as per the season pass agreement.
