The bad luck doesn’t end for those desperate to own the new Nexus 4 smartphone in white.
Google confirms today that after selling out in hours on the 5th of June, the stylish variant of the LG-made Android handset will be discontinued and if you didn’t get one first time around chances are you’ll never again get the chance to own a new one!
The official word on the Google website suggests that the Nexus 4 in White (16GB model) is not only just sold out but also has been deemed as ‘no longer available for sale’ and the item’s listing on the website has been completely taken down.
Starting at around £200 for a basic 8GB model, the Nexus 4 in white was comparable to the black original in all but colour, boasting an impressive 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 4.7-inch Gorilla Glass display and running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The black version is still available to purchase but as we know, any handset that gets released in a cool variant will be the must-have version of any smartphone!
