Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata recently commented on the importance of getting a product like the Wii U into the hands of the consumers so they can see for themselves just how the innovative interface and its games co-exist, and to make a clear step away from any of the confusion and potential buyer apprehension that the consoles earlier appearances at shows such as the E3 might have been caused, the company is taking both it’s Wii U home console and portable 3DS on the road and across the UK this summer.
Both the Wii U Den Tour and 3DS Festival of Fun will kick off on July 27th and will touch down at a number of great British outdoor events including the Bristol Balloon Fiesta and Nottingham Riverside Festival. The events will showcase new titles and will give folks the chance to play games such as LEGO City Undercover, Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Donkey Kong Country Returns, as well as taking part in Nintendo themed activities including a massively multiplayer five-person Super Mario Bros U challenge!
