After disappointing results at the end of 2011, it seems that Japan’s foremost game company Nintendo is set on a course of re-confirming their spot as one of the number one game suppliers in the world.
A new product release… erm… release has been… well I guess RELEASED by the company, and a massive line up of all-new titles from old and new game franchises alike has swarmed the internet, with pages upon pages of top-notch games for the Wii, DS, DSi and 3DS ranges alike.
The early stages of 2012 will see a torrent of new titles for the (some consider) failing 3DS, including Ubisoft’s much ignored and impeccably designed Rayman: Origins, a Tekken title from Namco Bandai, as well as Resident Evil: Revelations and Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater from Capcom and Konami respectively.
On top of these, more titles for the Nintendo eShop for the 3DS, with marginal Kirby involvement (the pink one) slated for around Q1 2012. In other news the elusive retcon of the 3DS’s design dubbed the ‘Circle Pad Pro’, which attaches another analogue stick to the side of the console, is also pinned for an early 2012 release on February the 7th.
As for Wii offerings, the release shows that several more notable titles such as PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond and Mario Party 9 are coming to the older motion-controlled console, and as for its successor, the Wii U, no signs came from Nintendo in the product release release (repeat to fade) at all as to its impending release.
