Word is out that Nintendo will be producing more of its early Amiibo figures and shipping 100,000 of them to Spain in a massive stock replenishment mission.
An official press release was obtained by GoNintendo.com and translated from the original Spanish. It refers to the Amiibo range “exceeding expectations” and mentions the “consistently outstripped supply” as the reason for efforts being made to satisfy demands faced by collectors in the country. It also goes on to name the 36 Amiibo figures which will be getting remanufactured and rereleased between now and the end of July – a number of which are now considered rare in other global regions.
The list includes:
Super Smash Bros. Collection –
Donkey Kong
Link
Fox
Samus
Wii Fit Trainer
Villager
Pikachu
Kirby
Marth
Zelda
Diddy Kong
Luigi
Little Mac
Pit

There’s no news yet to suggest Amiibo collectors in other parts of Europe, or the world at large, will get the same special treatment as the Spanish so we expect these Amiibo figures to fly off the shelves as soon as they land – likely showing up on eBay with a considerable mark up soon after.
Nintendo will however be releasing brand new Amiibo ranges in all markets soon including more figures from Super Smash Bros. as well as new games Splatoon and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
