Nintendo’s 14 third party games for 2013 – Watch Dogs, Arkham Origins and Black Flag

Nintendo has just finished its Nintendo Direct video cast where the company has outed a host of new Nintendo games including Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World and a new Super Smash Brothers game for the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS. But Nintendo’s next generation console isn’t just sticking with its own brand of lovable fun games and characters, as Ninty has announced it will be bringing 14 other third party games to the console in the near future.

Publishers including WB, Ubisoft, Disney, Activision, and Square Enix have all got games coming to the console ranging from kid-friendly games like Disney Infinity and Sonic Lost World to more adult next-gen games like Watch Dogs and Batman Arkham Origins.

The full list of games is:

  • Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
  • Batman: Arkham Origins
  • Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate (3DS)
  • Deux Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut
  • Disney Infinity
  • Just Dance 2014
  • Rayman Legends
  • Scribblenauts: Unmasked
  • Disney’s Planes
  • Shin Megami Tensei IV
  • Skylanders Swap Force
  • Splinter Cell: Blacklist
  • Sonic: Lost World
  • Watch Dogs

Many of the games we have already seen at E3, demoed by Sony with Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag and Batman Arkham Origins all filling out Sony’s full press conference so it’s reassuring to fans of the Wii U that the console they own is just as worthy of  incoming games as the PS4 and Xbox One.

However overall Nintendo’s Direct announcement was a little lacking on new news… or games for 2013 for that matter.
