The not-delayed Nokia Lumia 900 in White has been spotted flying out of the door of Phones4U in London so reports suggest this morning – this days ahead of the Windows Phone handset’s controversial release date.
The Lumia 900 was caught up in a release date mystery last month when it was suggested our U.K stocks were being diverted to satisfy demands in the States where the gadget had already been released and doing very successfully. Apparently this was not the case and handful of retailers simply mistook a rumoured released date of April 27th as being the gospel truth, when in fact Nokia had given no official date for the device to drop (Nokia’s story).
Later it was confirmed that the largest of the Lumia family would arrive on May 14th, this coming Monday in it’s original Cyan Blue skin.
A pre-order webpage for the smartphone in White was pulled recently and replaced with a notice stating that this pale variant would not be available to buy until May 27th. But one website has now been tipped off that a Chelsea branch of the high street retailer Phones4U is already selling the gadget in White and they are selling fast.
The Gadget Helpline will investigate further and hopefully report on if any other branches are stocking the Nokia Lumia 900 White edition early. If you’ve been able to grab this gadget today let us know on our comments below or via our @Gadget_Helpline Twitter page or Official Facebook group.
