Well, Looky here, we think we should stop waiting for official announcements of smartphones these days, and all just turn our attentions to the @Evleaks leaks twitter feed for all of our official Smartphone releases.
Especially where Nokia is concerned, as today, ahead of the suspected launch at tomorrow’s Lumia event, Evleaks has posted an image and some specifications for the rumoured Nokia Lumia 930 Windows 8.1 running smartphone.
As per usual the leak features a professional image from Nokia, and the handset seems to carry on with the Nokia’s Lumia style of handset.
A press invite has been sent out to the Lumia Event set for tomorrow morning and we are expecting a new range of Nokia Lumia smartphones including the 930 and 630 handsets that we have previously seen. The press event is following on directly from the Microsoft BUILD event that is going on and we are expecting to hear more information about the next line-up of Lumia smartphones as well as the Windows Phone 8.1 updated OS.
The Lumia 930 is rumoured to be the successor to the Lumia 925, which will see the WP 8.1 inside of 4.5-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution display, 2.2GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and a 20-megapixel PureView camera. Basically a international version of the currently US only Nokia Lumia 925, but with the latest Windows Phone software.
The image leaked online shows 4 colour variants for the Lumia 930, and the handsets have taken a step away from the plastic rounded off feel, and look more similar to the Sony Xperia range of smartphone, although a lot more colourful!
On display is a Green, Orang, White and Black version of the handsets back.
