Phones4u have obtained an exclusive white version of the world’s first 3D mobile phone – the LG Optimus 3D – ahead of its scheduled release.
The UK Mobile Phone retailer will be offering both the original Black version and an exclusive White model in the coming months, when the Android-based 3D handset is due to hit UK stores.
We first saw the Optimus 3D alongside the Dual-Core Optimus 2X back at MWC in Barcelona this year, and since then anticipation has grown as the release draws nearer.
In case you missed our run-down on the handset before, it runs on Android 2.2 (FroYo), has a Dual-Core 1GHz processor, and features two 5MP autofocus cameras with LED Flash for 3D image shooting. You’ll get 8GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, as well as a whole host of other features and apps.
Phones4u are being coy about the exact release date of both the Black and White Optimus 3D handsets, but quote them as being available in the “near future”. You can register your interest here.
