Playstation Network’s “Welcome Back” package now available in UK

Sony has finally gone live with its freebie-tastic “Welcome Back” package – rewarding UK and European Playstation gamers for their patience following the outage which rocked the PSN for over a month between April and May.

Paris Modern Office FOC - Nice.

Up for grabs and free-of-charge through Playstation Home Square, the total package contains over £65 worth of value – to pimp your PS palace. Exclusively available to Playstation loyalists (ages 16+) who hung in there when others were trading in for Xbox 360s, the “Welcome Back” gifts include early access to new content to download for a limited time – between June 30th and 28th July.

The goods on offer includes the following Playstation Home gear:

  • Anime Style Apartment
  • Anime themed clothing and furniture sets
  • Paris Modern Office furniture set
  • nDreams Big Bash party bundle
  • nDreams Fantasy Fashion and Funkster costumes
  • Aurora OrbRunner Booster Bundle
  • A cuddly Stitchkins Bunny Toy from Lockwood
  • A Midway Green ticket (50 plays)
  • Cardboard Cartel Furniture from Codeglue
  • Fortune Cookie active item
  • A selection of Tops, Shirts, Skirts, High-top trainers and glasses
  • Go Fish – a new, free-to-play fishing game based in the Shopping Centre

The “Welcome Back” package is not as exciting as we’d have expected and after all the stuff Sony gave away a month ago – all those top games demos and discounted full games that were pushed out to stop Playstation gamers jumping ship – this is a little disappointing. Regardless – it’s free stuff, and we all love free stuff! So go grab your goodies now from Playstation Home.
