Samsung Galaxy S Duos Dual SIM Android SIM Card coming in September?

Samsung has announced that it will be bringing its Samsung Galaxy S Duos Dual SIM card Android smartphone to the UK and Europe in the next month with a possible September release date.

The handsets main selling point is the Dual SIM card capability for those that have to frequently switch card or that want to combine two phones into one devices (business and pleasure?), but the handset has a host of decent features that keep it up to date with most mind range Android Smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy S Duos comes running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes with just a basic 1GHz processor,  which means it’s unlikely to raise up to Android’s Jelly Bean OS. Additionally the handset has a 4-inch display, 4GB of on-board storage 5MP camera and a 1500mAh battery.

Design wise the S Duos takes heavily form the Samsung Galaxy SIII smartphone with its curved edges and clean display.

The handsets Dual SIM functionality, which allows users to manage two phone numbers from a single phone, is the real selling point here and with the ‘Dual SIM Always on’ you can receive calls on one SIM number while taking a call from the other.

The Samsung Galaxy S Duo is looking set to be released in September across Europe, no pricing or official release dates have been released.
