We all know the power potential the new Samsung Galaxy S II has, as it features an impressive dual-core 1.2Ghz CPU. However, that doesn’t seem to be enough for a forum poster over at XDA developers, as he wanted to push the this little Android beauty even further.
In fact, that’s exactly what he managed to achieve as he managed to overlock the CPU on the SGS2 to around 1.504Ghz, and then decided to benchmark it. The results were quite impressive to say the least. If you want to know how well it went, make sure you check out the video below he kindly recorded to show us.
Along with the evidence of the increase in CPU power, there are also instructions on how to do this yourself, but we certainly wouldn’t recommended doing unless you’re an advanced Android user. Be warned!
