Everywhere we look at the moment it seems that Samsung is releasing, revealing or leaking another new Android running Galaxy handset. One of the handsets that has been previously announced that we are very excited about, the Samsung Galaxy Mega, has now been priced and dated for a UK launch.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega is a 6.3-inch screen-sporting Android smartphone that was announced back in April and was originally thought to be landing in the UK around mid-May time, which is no longer the case.
However, thanks to the good folks over at Clove we now know that the Mega will be landing in the UK in mid-July and what’s more, the smartphone will be priced at £459.99.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega has a whopping 6.3-inch screen and runs some top notch specifications as it sports a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, 3,200mAh battery and comes with either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage.
The handset is a 4G LTE sporting phone and will operate very similarly to the S4, running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean paired with Samsung’s latest TouchWiz user interface and a host of features. The likes of Air View, Multi-Window and Pop-Up Play will all be present, so you’ll be getting the latest set of Samsung’s ‘Natural’ features.
When the 6.3 inch Mega was announced the handset also had a slightly smaller 5.8-inch sibling, which carries most of the same features but on a smaller screen. This however is not currently slated for release in the UK so we are set to be blessed with the just larger 6.3 version.
The SIM-free 16GB Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is now available from Clove for pre-order for £459.99.
