Samsung and Google’s flagship smartphone, the Nexus Prime or Google Nexus, has leaked again online. This time the phone has appeared in a video where a user is giving us a quick demonstration at his desk.
We’ve checked it out and everything looks legit – the phone sports the same curved 4.65-inch touchscreen and a new version of Android, version 4.0 which is named Ice Cream Sandwich.
In the video we can also see the three touch buttons which sit just below the screen, glowing white. The lucky chap using the phone in the video shows us how the new homescreens and app menus work, showing how the app menu now features a ‘widgets’ section. It appears that you can easily flick through pages of widgets in the menu, and tap and hold on one to add it to a homescreen.
Google have designed Ice Cream Sandwich to resemble iOS in some ways it seems, with a row of 4 frequently used icons along the bottom of the screen. We can make out the Phone, Messages and Browser icons, plus the Menu Grid icon in the middle.
We’re set to find out all about the Galaxy Nexus or Nexus Prime next Tuesday when Google and Samsung officially announce it at their Samsung Unpacked event during the CTIA wireless conference.
Are you excited about this phone? Will you be buying it over an iPhone 4S?
