Samsung’s next big smartphone could actually be bigger than we initially thought, as supposed leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Smartphone/Tablet screen have revealed that the Android smartphone may sport a huge 5.5-inch display.
The image has come up form French website NowhereElse and states that the screen casing is from the Galaxy Note’s follow-up device, which is speculated to be announced in a few week’s time on the 29th of August.
The Original Galaxy Note was a big hit with users with the Android OS, large screen and Samsung S-Penstylus, and a follow-up was quickly explored by the manufacturer.
If the pictures are indeed real it would show that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will have a 5.5 inch screen, which is a whole 0.2 inches bigger than the screen found on the original Note Smartphone/Tablet.
Rumours are that the Note 2 will also share the same quad-core processor as the current Samsung Galaxy SIII flagship handset, as well as featuring a new Samsung Galaxy S-Pen stylus.
Earlier in the week the Note range of devices was officially expanded as Samsung released the Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet device running Android Ice Cream Sandwich and a quad-core processor.
Again, there is no official information about the forthcoming smartphone but we loved the first Galaxy Note handset (check out our video review on YouTube) and cannot wait to get our hands on the next iteration.
