Android Smartphone-stroke-Tablet the Samsung Galaxy Note will be looking pretty in pink from next month, thanks to the Carphone Warehouse which will be launching the handbag-aimed mobile task-tackler as an exclusive in stores and online.
Of course, it might not only be women who this one appeals to, but to the Galaxy Note has thus far been a somewhat manly slab of black hardware. So the overall change of tone presented by this limited edition gadget will give potential buyers a bit more versatility while still providing all the impressive features which wowed us at the IFA in Berlin and was finally launched here in the U.K and Europe in October 2011.
Those in need of a reminder these features include a whopping 5.3” touchscreen display packing a 1280×800 HD pixel resolution unlike any other on an Android device, meaning the Galaxy Note resembles a tiny tablet. Android 2.3 Gingerbread comes pre-loaded and a 1.4GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor and 1GB of onboard RAM allows tools such as the Personal Digital Assistant using the S-Pen and high definition apps such as launch partner Angry Birds Space to run smoothly and efficiently. This is complimented by a pair of cameras also included in this giant Galaxy gadget – an 8 megapixel rear-shooter and a 2 megapixel VGA for video calling.
If the Samsung Galaxy Note in Pink tickles your fancy hop over to the Carphone Warehouse website and pre-register now for information on when this one drops in June.
