Samsung Galaxy F Press Render Leaks

If you’ve been keeping up with news on the Galaxy S5, you would have most probably heard a bit about the Galaxy F, a premium version of the extremely popular flagship smartphone from Samsung.

Not too long ago, we saw a leaked image of what is most probably the Galaxy F side-by-side with the S5 which showed off at least one of the handsets premium features; a metallic finish. And now, another leak has surfaced via @evleaks, who have shared a press render of the alleged Galaxy F showing both the front and back of the handset.

Possible official press shots of the Galaxy F

Along with its premium finish, if rumours are to be believed, the Galaxy F is also expected to feature some pretty decent upgraded specs too; including a QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, compared to the Galaxy S5’s resolution of 1080 x 1920. It’s also thought that the Galaxy F will feature a more powerful Snapdragon processor – the 805, which is clocked at 2.5GHz, giving the smartphone a bit more power compared to the Snapdragon 801 on the Galaxy S5. And, it’s also thought that the Galaxy F will have 3GB of RAM instead of the 2GB that features on the S5.

It seems as if the Galaxy F will only be available in a 32GB model, whereas users had the option with the S5 of choosing between 16 or 32GB. If 32GB isn’t enough though, you can pop in a MicroSD card up to 128GB in size to hopefully fulfil your storage requirements.

Most of the other spec details are allegedly the same, with the main selling point being the upgraded screen, CPU and also the metallic finish.

Hopefully with the alleged press images being prepared, it’s possible that Samsung might be shedding some light on this premium smartphone sooner rather than later – I’ll guess we’ll just have to wait and see, and as ever as soon as we hear anything, you can be assured we’ll let you know.
