The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be with us over the summer, or so we’re told. In the meantime, the miniaturised Android flagship has leaked through Chinese social site Weibo, revealing plenty about the design.
Sat next to last year’s flagship, the Galaxy S3, the S4 Mini looks to be almost identical in size to the S3 Mini. Samsung has altered the design to reflect the changes it made in the S4, however, with the same chrome bezel running around the edge giving that classy look.
Images of the back of the phone also confirm that the weave-type pattern is also present, which will give the S4 Mini the same textured feel as its bigger brother.
Unfortunately Weibo user ‘PunkPanda’ didn’t share anything with relation to the specifications, so we’re sticking to what we’ve heard from various sources including the Wall Street Journal before; a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, 8 megapixel camera, Jelly Bean 4.2 and a dual-core 1.6GHz processor.
We’re told that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S4 Mini alongside a host of new Galaxy Tab Android tablets in June with a view to putting them on sale within the following weeks. The rumoured rugged Galaxy S4, which is said to be waterproof and dustproof, will also be revealed over the summer.
