In the past 2 weeks Samsung has been dropping Android powered smartphones on us out of the blue like nobody’s business, but whilst we appreciate the official handset information there does seem to be a bit of info lacking when it comes to pricing and availability.
Luckily this looks like it may have changed with regards to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini that was announced last week, as the UK SIM-ree retailer Handtec has just put the S4 offspring on its website and has priced it at a cool £389.99 for phone outright.
The phone will be sold in 2 colour variants; “Black Mist” and “White Frost”, and it’s looking set to be released after the incoming Samsung Galaxy and ATIV event that is taking place in London on June 20th.
Last week Samsung dropped the new Galaxy S4 Mini smartphone on us after we were all speculating that this would be one of the handsets announced on June 20th and this week they’ve done it again by just randomly announcing the long-rumoured Galaxy S4 Active variant.
The S4 Mini is the follow-up to last year’s popular S III Mini mid-range phone and comes with a 4.3-inch 940 x 560 screen, a dual-core 1.7GHz processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and an 8 megapixel camera on the back with a 1.9 megapixel sensor up front for video calling.
The handset will be available on reasonably priced contracts free when the handset is released to fill the gap between the high end specs of the Galaxy S4 and the entry level Galaxy Y and Fame handsets on the market.
With the June 20th event fast approaching and two of the most rumoured handset already being announced, it’s looking like Samsung may announce the Galaxy S4 Zoom and a range of ATIV Windows Phone 8 running handsets.
