This Galaxy is not as far, far away as previously expected – in fact it’s landing in New York as early as June 8th!
Samsung’s hotly-hyped Galaxy Tab 10.1 is due to hit the public on June 17th. A press release today states that for those lucky folk in the Big Apple (no, not that Apple) Best Buy in Union Square will be stocking the tablet more than a week early – but in a limited number. Pre-ordering online and in-store will also begin on June 8th, but the only way to get to grips with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be to show up on the day and hope for the best!
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes running Android’s tablet-specific 3.1 Honeycomb platform and will become available in a full-fat 32GB version for $599, or a slimmed-down 16GB for $499.
