Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 photo leaked ahead of official unpacking

Ahead of Samsung’s ‘Unpacked’ presentation this Thursday (Sept 1st) as part of the IFA event in Berlin, we’ve been treated to a little sneak peak of the Galaxy Tab 7.7 – the littlest tablet to come out of the Korean co., courtesy of Android Life.

The online source has leaked a snapshot of the tiny Tab which gives away that unlike big bro, this 7.7” touchscreen pocket pal comes with a row of buttons along the bottom (or right) of the hardware. This raises suggestion that the smaller sibling to the 10.1” Samsung offering may not come along with the tablet-specific Android software – Honeycomb. Also featured appears to be a camera button.

The full details and features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 should be officially unveiled at the IFA tech tradeshow, alongside some of Sammy’s other future Android offerings. An “Unpacked” app is now available so that Google platform users can access the live event as it happens tomorrow.

Users of the app, including ourselves at the Gadget Helpline, have noticed that buried within the app are the logos of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 7.7, Wave 3 and Galaxy Note – so we’ll certainly be looking forward to seeing these gadgets out in Berlin.

September 1st is also the day Taiwanese mobile comms co. HTC hits London, England to reveal ‘what’s next’. Read the Gadget Helpline’s coverage – here.
