Last week Samsung announced the second camera focussed handset in its Galaxy Zoom range of smartphone, this time called the Galaxy K Zoom, and after unleashing the 20.7-megapixel snapper smartphone news on just when we will be able to get our hands on the device is just coming in.
The good news is that the Galaxy K Zoom is going to be landing in the next few weeks as Samsung’s German website has the K Zoom listed down for a Mid-May release and they have even put up a price of €519 which would suggest that it will cost around £500 in the UK.

The K Zoom is a bit of a change from the Last Galaxy S4 Zoom handset, as the smartphone does not try to keep the latest flagship phone (in this case the Galaxy S5) by having a slightly lower specification, undoubtedly in an attempt to keep the price down.
However the Galaxy K Zoom is no slouch in the spec’s department as it comes with a 4.8-inch 1280 x 720 display, running the Android 4.4 KitKat software, Powered by a hexa-core processor and 2GB of RAM and with the real headline act being the 20.7-megapixel camera that has a 3 BSI CMOS sensor with 10x optical zoom built in.
The phone also has 8GB of internal storage, 4G support, NFC connectivity, a microSD slot and a 2430mAh battery to keep that cam powered, but the only reason people will be buying the handset is really the Camera functionality.
We expect the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom to be released within the next few weeks in the UK and will update when we get further pricing and confirmed release dates.
