Just a few days ago we wrote about the possibility of the Google Nexus 6 flagship android handsets landing in the UK on contract by December the 1st, but it appears that for people who really want the latest Nexus device can now pick up the handset SIM free from now on the Google Play Store.
Today (November the 6th) Google finally added the Nexus 6 to its Google play store for sale in a 32GB and 64GB version. The hadsets are available in three different colours, Classic Black, Midnight Blue and Cloud White but currently the blue and White versions are listed as “Coming Soon”.
Prices for the Nexus 6 start at £499 for the 32GB version of the phone, with the 64GB Nexus available for £549 which is a pretty steep price hike when compared to last years Google Nexus 5 handsets, which retailed for around £350.#

We are all excited about the Nexus 6 hitting our UK shelves, as Googles latest Android 5.0 Lollipop sporting Flagship smartphone is a bit of a beast. It features a 5.9 inch display, quad HD with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and 493ppi display. Its powered by a massive Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core 2.7GHz 805 chip whilst running the latest Android 5.0 software from Google.
Hardware wise the Nexus 6 features a more than modest 13 megapixel camera on the back with a 2MP resolution cam on the front which has support for 1080p video recording. It has a 3220hAh battery to keep your phone alive, and the handset will be made available in both 32GB and 64GB memory variants.
If you buy the Nexus 6 from the Google Play store now you also get a free unlimited music on Google Play for 6 months.
You can pickup the Google Play phone from the Google Play store now in black, though you may have to wait a few weeks before the White and Blue colour variants are on the UK shores. We suspect the previously revealed 2st of December stocking date will be for Contract based Nexus 6 handsets on sold via UK stores.
