SIM-Free BlackBerry 10 hits the UK on March 1st

The first SIM-free stock of the BlackBerry Z10 will hit the UK on March 1st, with confirmation from Clove Technology arriving earlier today.

We recently learned that stock of the unlocked version would land in the UK within a week or so, and it looks as though that report was accurate. Stock will land at Clove on March 1st and should be arriving with those first to pre-order a few days after that.

The BlackBerry Z10 with BlackBerry 10 launched at the very end of January on many networks around the world, but SIM-free versions of the phone have been extremely hard to come by, especially here in the UK.

The stock coming to Clove will be the black version of the handset, with the white version expected later – no date has been given. At the moment the only place you can pick up the snowy white version is at Phones 4U, as far as we’re aware.

You can pre-order the Z10 from Clove now, with the price set at £534 – a significant amount more than the competing Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X+ and £5 more than you’ll pay for the 16GB iPhone 5. Worth the extra for the very latest BlackBerry? You decide.
