The Motorola Moto X is shaping up to be another great phone from Motorola, and what we’ve recently heard from online news outlets is that an alternate edition of the device is set to hit the market, the Motorola Moto X Pure.
The Moto X Pure is set to be a clean version of the device, devoid of pre-installed ‘bloatware’ apps, fully unlocked for any network, unbranded with no carrier names or logos on the device.
The Moto X Pure will run Android KitKat, and be first in line when new Android versions arrive due to not requiring the go ahead from carrier overlords.

Motorola has already released a website detailing that the Moto X Pure’s “pure Android experience delivers the best performance.” with an interface “free from unnecessary software skins” with “quick access to the latest updates, so you always enjoy the best Android experience”.
Although there aren’t many other new or enhanced features on the Moto X Pure apart from refining the operating system and dropping the branding, the Moto X Pure’s specs more than make up for it for the price.
The phone includes Android 4.4 KitKat, as well as a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p screen, with the phone’s functions controlled by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor partnered with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Also there’s a 13-megapixel camera for the snappers amongst us.
The phone is supported by a metal frame which allows the user to customise the phone with customisable rear casings in both wood and leather for starters.

There’s no indicator on whether the Pure edition of the Moto X will arrive before the regular version of the phone, but later on in, or just after the end of this month is the most likely time for the device to arrive.
Selling a fully unlocked version of the Moto X is a nice gesture for users from Motorola, with the Moto X Pure being optimised for use by everyone.
