Sky+ Apps for Android and iOS Receive Major Update

  • by

Sky has had an array of different apps available for both iOS and Android, with iOS getting the better of the bunch, especially having the Sky Go app ahead of Android.

However, one of Sky’s older apps, the Sky + app, has received a bit of an update.

This update brings the ability of series link your favorite TV show on the go, from an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. Android will also get a slightly separate update, giving the app layout an overhaul, bringing a standard across the entire Sky app line up.

Sky are in the process of working on the Sky Go apps for Android, as the app has been a big hitwith the iOS counterparts. Sky Go will allow you to watch sports or movies on the go using a mobile device and a valid Sky account.

The fact it has taken Sky so long to port the apps to Android has not made the company a fan favorite of the Android clan, but I’m sure once the apps are available all will be forgiven.
