Skype 5 for Mac has seen better days – specifically when it was Skype 4 for Mac. Now the people at the Skype headquarters need your help (pointy finger).
The Skype development team seeks your assistance in making the Skype user interface a more bearable place. There’s currently a competition going on to find the best new design for the Skype 5 for Mac chat interface, with submissions for user-generated custom CSS beginning April 8th.
For those with the CSS know-how, enter your submission(s) at http://macthemes.skype.com/.
The contest runs in three separate rounds, with one Judge’s choice and one People’s choice in each round, followed by one winner selected from the 6 finalists.
People’s choice winners win themselves a shiny new Apple TV and Judge’s choice winners grab a Wi-Fi iPad 2, as well as every winner getting a copy of CSS3 for Web Designers and a year’s subscription to Skype Unlimited World Extra.
Oh, and the grand prize winner gets an eleven-inch Macbook Air as well as an iPad 2. Swag-tastic, wouldn’t you say?
