Sony’s worst kept secret ever, the Sony Xperia Tablet, has once again made a surprise appearance in the form of some new official press shots leaked online by a mysterious source.
The high quality and professional photos reveal the full look of the Xperia Tablet, including the back strip of the device, a full frontal image and a side-on image that showcases the device’s slim line size and slightly larger back “chin” panel that houses the camera.
What we currently know about the Sony Xperia Tablet is that it will be an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet device (now confirmed by the homescreen on the screenshot) with an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 3G connectivity, either 16, 32, or 64GB of internal storage, and a big 6,000 mAh battery.
We are expecting to see an official announcement of the device at the Sony IFA press event, which is due to take place on 29th August along with some Sony-filled Jelly Bean action.
